The meet will be held at 36 Rymat Road in Topsham, Maine (map). Attendees should plan on arriving between 2-3, with a commencement presentation/introduction taking place promptly at 3pm. There will be catering for the event, and an after-party will follow the event at 10pm at a nearby location, for those interested.

Many news stories out of Afghanistan cover the ongoing insurgency and hardships of war, but few tell of how people are rebuilding in war's aftermath. These photo exhibits and special events explore this other side of Afghanistan. Please join us at the multimedia showings for a lively presentation and discussion.

Fall lunch, 11/5/08

The evite just went out for our fall lunch at the Falmouth Sea Grill in Falmouth! We'll be in the private dining room upstairs from 12p-2p. Private checks (with tax and tip included) are possible.

Spring luncheon, 4/08

What a great lunch! Thanks so much to everyone who joined us this afternoon to chow and catch up at the Roma Cafe in Portland (and for the yummy cake, Sam). Already looking forward to seeing everyone again!

(So the point & shoot gave us red eye in our past group photos. And because of the poor light, the people in the back row aren't in focus. We'll get this right soon enough! Pretty comical).

Thanks so much for coming out this morning! It was great to see some new faces in our group! Sweetleaves was a great little spot for our gathering, and I think our waitress survived our chatty group and switching seats a-ok. Thanks to Roxanne for showing us her studio space, too!
